About FICTS-festival

In order to grasp the size of this sportfilm festival event we would like to share some of the press release we recieved today. It takes place in the center of Milan, Italy and there are many prestigeous guests from the sports world during the 4-day festival.

“Sport Movies & Tv 2009 - 27^th Milano International FICTS Festival”
is the World-wide Final of the 14 phases of the International Circuit of the “World FICTS Challenge” that take place in the 5 Continents (www.sportmoviestv.com). The International event dedicated to cinema and sport television, organized by FICTS (Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs, joined with 102 Countries) recognized by IOC - International Olympic Committee, will take place from October 30^th to November 4^th 2009 to “Palazzo Giureconsulti” (Piazza Mercanti, 2). The “Pirelli Skyscraper” will accommodate the “Opening Ceremony” (October 30^th), “Palazzo Marino” (Piazza Scala, 2) the “Award Ceremony” (November 4^th).

The world-wide event of field includes 180 Projections (selected among 900 works coming from 55 Countries), 7 Meeting, 8 Encounters, 3 Workshops, 2 Exhibitions, 9 Side Events, 4 Press Conferences and 30 Awards with prestigious guests and the participation of 230 journalists that will fix a high media interest. 1000 champions on the screen, for 6 days in 7 points of projections at the same time to which will added the maxi screen in Piazza Duomo and the screen in the tube station of Milano (Italy).
