Posa goes to Russia.

This weekend the WC-ships in iceracing for teams are held in Krasnogorsk, Russia. We talked to Posa recently and he is going with his teammates Stefan Svensson and P-A Lindström. Together they will fight for the medals. As all of them have proven great form it is very likely they have a good chance on silver. Posa who did not make it to the WC-series this season also sees an opportunity to be where the action is and perhaps join the circuit anyhow. -"You never know what can happen in this sport", as he said, while packing his gear. Well we wish him and his colleauges the best of luck.

Posa for the finals?

Posa has had a great start this far...He beat Bulankin in the first round and is after three rounds among the top three! You can follow the race on this link. Posa !!!! Gogogo.

Miracle on ice

Here are the odds for tonights semi-qualifier in St Johann, Austria. In the startingfield there are three qualified Russians plus another Russian who qualified to the semifinals via Ukraine. The Austrian Franky Zorn who is performing on his homeice. There has also been a last minute change to five riders to the finals instead of six. Also add to the facts that Posa have a bad foot (25 fresh stitches) and hates the extremely fast track. Posa and his mechanics are in for a great challenge and it will take a miracle to reach the finals again. The qualifier start tonight at 18.00 Austrian time. Let´s keep our fingers crossed for the legend!

Posa on swedish television. Unfortunately not subtitled but proves that the living legend of ice speedway still is in good shape. In the interview he promise to do a good attempt on the 21st Swedish championship. By the way, the temperature was minus 22 degrees.

Steingaden results

I talked to Posa from Steingaden today and he reported that Zorn won followed by Zmaga(?) from Russia and Bauer on third. Antti Aakko came on fourth place. Posa made a bleak performance and ended up 14th. However he borrowed a bike from swedish colleauge Peter Koij who ended up 10th. Posa blamed himself totally and said it was due to his bad driving and not the bike itself he ended up in 14th place. Spoken like a true gentleman.
